Industry challenges
Produced Water is increasing on the Norwegian Continental shelf as more oil fields evolve. Produced water management is therefore becoming a very important issue both in terms of cost effective oil production and in meeting regional and international environmental requirements.
Regulatory Aspects and Environmental Impact
The conference will start up with focus on environment and regulatory issues. An update on OSPAR´s Risk Based Approach, as well as status on Modelling using the EIF. Further an operator will share their experience on Monitoring the environmental impact of PW treatment.
New field development and lessons learned
The importance of design for optimal operation of produced water treatment will be addressed followed by two very interesting presentations on new field developments, Skarv and Goliat .
Operational experiences with schmoo and screening of technologies as well as offshore experiences with OIW monitoring
Further sessions will be dedicated to water injection for reservoir pressure support, sand management and What is new?
